28 Dec Prayers to Saints
Many denominations venerate, or honor, Saints. There is a belief in intercession, which is when a Saint receives a prayer for assistance and then appeals to the Lord. Many people turn to a specific Patron Saint who is connected to a certain type of assistance. Prayers to St. Jude, for example, often involve seemingly impossible tasks, because he is the Patron Saint of desperate causes.
WhenSaintsIntercede.com was started after a prayer to St. Therese helped change the founder’s life. These prayers are fairly common and create positive results. From Roman Catholicism to the Coptic religion, people venerate the Saints and pray for intercession. We hope to collect these stories and share them with others.
When people offer prayer to Saints, the idea is that the Saint is in a position to pray on their behalf. A Saint was once a human being on Earth, and being closer to God makes them the perfect intermediary for ordinary people who need God to hear their pleas. This practice is much more common than people realize.
THE POWER OF PRAYER
We know that prayers to Saints can result in appeals to the Lord on your behalf. After a prayer to St. Therese, the life of our founder was changed. This happens every day, although many people do not realize that Saints can and will intercede on your behalf.
“When Saints Intercede” is interested in your personal stories, from all denominations and about many different Saints. Our goal is to collect modern stories of Saints interceding for normal people. We plan to publish them in a book accessible by everyone that will serve as an inspiration to everyone who reads it. In it, you will not only find Catholic Saints mentioned but also Coptic figures and believers from many churches.
It will be a testament to the power of intercession and will not be directed to any specific dogma. It will show people that there is real strength in faith and prayer and that intercession is very real.
We are interested in stories concerning any Saint. Please share your story so that it may serve others, giving them hope and comfort during their dark times.

PRAYERS TO ST. MARY
St. Mary, the Blessed Virgin, is the mother of God, wife of St. Joseph, and the greatest of all Christian Saints. St. Mary has become a symbol of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her, every hope and every grace are obtained. A prayer to St. Mary could involve anything, of course, but often is associated with comfort and grace. Many people report that St. Mary has interceded for them. This is the type of story we are collecting at “When Saints Intercede” so we may share these true stories with the world.
PRAYERS TO ST. JUDE
When it seems that all is lost, people turn to St. Jude. As the Patron Saint of desperate causes, prayers to St. Jude for intercession involve a huge range of situations. The common thread is that these appeals are often the very last hope. When these prayers are answered, they make some of the most powerful stories that testify the power of faith and prayer.
