09 Mar Intercession for healing
In 1988 I wasn’t feeling well and the doctors could not figure out what was wrong. I went through many tests & medications and as a last resort they signed me up for an experimental chemotherapy trial. It was pretty hopeless and the doctors were at a loss for what to do. That year I went on vacation as planned to Egypt to visit family and we drove to Alexandria. On the way we stopped at the St. Mina monastery and visited the burial memorial of St. Pope Kyrillos. I prayed with all my heart to find a cure and help me with this sickness. When I went back home the doctors were shocked at my test results and said there were dramatic changes; to such an extent that they stopped the chemotherapy and said I was officially in remission. I believe this was a miracle from St. Pope Kyrillos’ intercessions. Since then my symptoms have been under control with minimal medication and I’m thankful for my health.
